I’m trying to find out which Australian celebrities play golf to a decent standard ie, they have a fairly good handicap. I’m not talking about famous golfers, more celebs who have a passion for the game. Thanks. All help greatly received.

I know that some alternative sportsmen are good golfers:
Cricket: The Chappells, Mark Taylor, Ricky Ponting, the Waughs etc
Rugby: George Gregan
Tennis: Lleyton Hewitt
I don’t know of any film or TV stars who are good golfers, but I’m sure they’re out there.

I think you’ll find Adam Gilchrist, Brett Lee and Ricky Ponting are all very-above board when it comes to golf - also I think former Aussie women’s cricketer Belinda Clarke wasn’t bad with an iron either.
